FROM THE FOLLOW-UP COMMITTEE

Greetings from the Follow-up Committee!
During the initial phases of the Capital Campaign, you have heard from many different people serving in many capacities and on several different committees. The success of their work is clear in the progress being made toward reaching the fund raising pledge goal of the campaign and the generous offerings received to date. We on the Follow-up Committee wish to add our hearty “Thank You” along with others for the generosity of your gifts to restore our wonderful church, the home of our church family. You have made our work easier through the spirit of giving that you have shown in the first part of the campaign!
The sprint part of the campaign has reached the finish line with record results and now we will begin the work of the Follow-up Committee for the marathon run over the next three years. Our role is to keep the congregation informed of progress toward the pledge goal and offerings received as well as progress on the restoration projects as these unfold in the coming months. This is the first of our newsletters and we will also be organizing events to accomplish these purposes.
The members of the Follow-Up Committee include Wendy and Jan Hope, Julian Smith, Diane Rudulph, Sara Castillo, and Betsy Rock, and as time goes on, we may ask others to join us as well to help with our work.
In addition to our newsletter, Wendy is designing a graphic way to show progress toward the goal and we will be displaying this on an easel board in Lumpkin Hall for all to see. We will update this display periodically to show how we are reaching our goal building stone upon stone!
This is an exciting time in the parish life of The Church of Our Saviour. We are so grateful for the generosity all of you have shown in the Capital Campaign, and we are looking forward to keeping you informed of our progress over the next three years!
